Kratom Trade regulations started
The Indonesian government has officially regulated the handling, utilization, and trade of kratom, according to a trade ministry.
Two trade ministerial regulations have been implemented to increase the added value and marketability of Indonesian kratom exports. Projected price will double and then will triple for upcoming years.
Kratom exports must comply with predetermined standards in order to increase added value and provide legal certainty - statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Trade.
Kratom exports will be subject to standard export requirements, including being free from microbiological contamination, heavy metals, and adulteration.
Trade Ministry clarified that the regulations apply specifically kratom exports to USA, Europe, Asian markets and also all growing domestic use. The regulations also aim to prevent the misuse of kratom.
